Oops, I Lost Your Mind (Bakery Records)
Kumquat remixes indie psych behemoths The Tadpoles.

The Droplift Project
Kumquat joins like-minded audio collage artists to put together a CD of illegal plunderphonic tracks. Fanning the flames of controversy, the marketing plan for The Droplift Project involves an upside down distribution scheme. Droplifting is the inverse of shoplifting: instead of stealing merchandise, you leave behind merchandise. Cluttering the stacks. Confusing the inventory management system. Fascinating the media.

We Bore (Toast and Jam Recordings)
Here the idea is to “create music you like from music you dislike.” Sample from something that you hate, and try to coax it into an appeasing form. Kenny G immediately came to mind for this exercise.

Circle Stars, seismologist mix
Blasting across the jungle-spiked mountainsides of New Jersey.

Similar To Sugar Pill (Tangy Citrus Records)
The second long-playing Kumquat record, released 2007. For a free CD copy, send an email to fred@kumquatpower.com with your postal address, and we will send it anywhere in the world, postage paid.
